Embark on a coding odyssey at HackDUCS – Delhi University's epic hackathon where ideas evolve, friendships form, and innovation takes centre stage!

The Department of Computer Science is organizing HackDUCS, a hybrid inter-university hackathon as part of its 20th Annual TechFest - Sankalan 2024.

Cash prizes worth more than ₹60,000 and prizes worth more than ₹18,00,000 to be won across events at Sankalan 2024. Check out https://sankalan.ducs.in/ to register.

Note: This is a hybrid hackathon. Main Tracks will be released soon. Teams need to present their ideas in a virtual meeting to a panel of judges in order to be accepted for the hackathon. Qualified teams not from New Delhi, India may join virtually.

Hackathon Tracks:

• AI for India 🇮🇳 - Innovate for India and present unique ideas that inspire the nation’s AI journey. Focus on empowering the Indian society with toolkits to promote citizen participation in vernacular languages.
• Human-Centred Design 🤖 - Develop and design solutions that address complex and everyday socio-technical problems with tools like accessible design, GenAI and XR.
• Sustainable Technology 🌱 - With focus on low-carbon footprint, come up with solutions to enable and monitor sustainable development at the grassroot level.
• Sponsor Track: Polygon 🔗 - Build solutions on Polygon that democratize Web3.
• Sponsor Track: ETHIndia 🔗 - Build an innovative project on the Ethereum blockchain.

Prizes:

• Cash Prizes: INR 8,000 for the winning team; INR 4,000 for each runner-up team (2)
• Wolfram Award: One year of Wolfram|One Personal Edition plus a one-year subscription to Wolfram|Alpha Pro. The value of each individual award is $375.00. This award is for all members in winning and runner-up teams.
• Interview Cake Award: Full access to coding interview prep course. The value of each individual award is $60.00. This award is for all members in winning and runner-up teams.
• Gen XYZ Award: .XYZ domain which will be free for the first year. This award is for all members in winning and runner-up teams.
• Axure Award: One year license to Axure RP Team Edition worth approximately USD 500.00. This award is for the winning team.
• Polygon Track Award: USD 200.00 for the best hack built on Polygon, Eligibility to apply for internship/full-time roles and seed funding of up to 5,000 USD for winners!
• ETHIndia Track Award: Winner of this track receives USD 100.00 in prizes from ETHIndia.
• Complimentary Access to 30 days of Wolfram|One for all participants.
